This past December, I picked up a property for $212,000 and I was determined to rehab it with the help of my amazing partners, Garret Schmidt and Bryant Aplass.
When I picked it up, it was a complete disaster. It had a choppy floor plan, smelled like cat pee, and needed a complete makeover. It needed a lot of work, but I knew it had great potential.
A lot of you came along this journey with us, as I documented the process on social media. I think we can all agree that the property has come a long way!
Let’s just say $56,000 was invested into this property. I opened the floor plan, updated and upgraded all of the materials, and brought the electrical up to code. Every penny invested was worth it.
It was staged and listed for $339,900 and I already had five showings in the first two days. This property should sell quick because there’s very little competition in the area and historically the subdivision has low days on the market!.
I am so excited to see all my hard work pay off. Not only am I going to make a profit from this house but, it’s possibly also going to become a beautiful home for a family out there.
